The Homes of the Future – Today™
Visible Green Home® Tour is very excited to present this first ever “On-Demand” tour of the Sunset Project – the ‘Glass Box in the Woods’. This new home construction project in Ann Arbor, Michigan is registered with the USGBC with the certification goal of LEED for Homes® Platinum.
A LEED for Homes® Platinum home is one that meets the rigorous requirements of the United States Green Building Council’s green certification standards in eight different resource categories including: Innovation and Design; Location and Transportation; Sustainable Sites; Water Efficiency; Energy and Atmosphere; Materials and Resources; Indoor Environmental Quality; Innovation and Regional Priority.
This completely reimagined VGH tour experience will be conducted in a unique manner. The format is similar to our in-person events and walks you through the home while still in the construction phase with a collection of narrated, mini-presentation, video tutorials of the key components of the project. You will now be able to view the educational narrated segments of the tour as many times as you’d like. Additionally you will also be able to virtually navigate through the entire home both at two points in the construction stage and as a completed project… all from the comfort of your own device, whenever you’d like!
Looking forward to sharing this ON-DEMAND tour with you!
