“The tour of Matt Grocoff’s Net Zero house was an inspiration. Seeing the commitment he has made, and feeling the spirit of his leadership and willingness to step out of his comfort zone to set an example for all of us, I am also renewed in my personal commitment to promoting and living a more sustainable lifestyle. We all owe it to ourselves to be engaged in the fight, and the spirit of colleagues sharing the journey, makes the end its own reward. Thank you for continuing to put these opportunities out there for us to grab onto and build confidence in each one of us for taking the first, or the tenth, step.”

“There’s no substitute for site visits to palpably experience a place, kick the tires and ask the expert – all in real time. The Grocoff House tour and discussion of zero-energy strategies was very illuminating and helpful.”

“The Mission Zero House tour provided a detailed look at how one household has made the choice to live a sustainable lifestyle in an energy efficient home. We were able to see firsthand how they save energy in simple, yet intelligent ways, and enjoy a comfortable single family home.”
