Dear Michael,

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for making both mine and Amy’s dream come true with the design of our new house. As you know, last January when we had called you it was quite a difficult time for our family. Amy had just given birth to our son Quinn in late October and then Amy’s father passed away suddenly two weeks later. On top of that we were still learning the art of raising a toddler as our daughter Payton was only 2 1/2 years old. One might say we had our hands full and could quite possibly question our sanity when we chose to renovate our home or possibly even move. As you know, we loved the character of our home (built in 1941) and were quite nervous about purchasing the new home (built in 1991). Fortunately, the house was still in the neighborhood and had the size we needed.

From the time you came to look at it on our behalf, and crawl through every possible opening that a human being could fit in, we knew we had made the right choice in hiring you. You looked at the house from every perspective and were completely honest and forthright in explaining the pro’s and the cons of the house. In the end it was your enthusiasm, vision and passion that made us feel comfortable in purchasing this home. You were incredibly patient and sensitive to some of the emotion’s we were feeling at the time yet were able to keep us focused and on task. You shared with us an incredible game plan on how we could transform this very ordinary non-descript home into the most talked about home in the neighborhood. I have had more people stop in front of our house and stare, talk to their spouse, and even (on more than 1 occasion) ring our doorbell, just to comment on how nice the home is. Additionally, those that have come inside say that the home has the look and feel of an old historic West Side home.

I must say however, what impressed us the most was the sincere ownership you took in the project. Your excitement throughout the project made this experience truly a memorable one! In addition, we had such comfort in knowing you were always in our comer. Whether it was a question from the builder or a sub-contractor, we knew we could count on you to not only answer the question but ensure it was done properly.

Lastly, I want to thank you for never pressuring us into any decision and respecting the budget we were comfortable with. My only regret I have at this time, is you and your team designed us such a wonderful home to raise our family in that the opportunity to work with you again may not be for some time. I can, however, continue to share in the magic that your company performed for us by recommending you to our friends and family. I encourage you to pass our phone number on to any of your new prospective clients so as we can share with them personally the experience we had with you and your company.

Michael, thanks again for everything and please pass on our gratitude to Seth as well.
