Dear Michael,

I think it has been almost five years since I worked with you to design and build an addition on my home Burns Parl. That was one of the smartest things I did since moving to Ann Arbor in 1985.

The dining room and deck, the study and the extended master bedroom remain a complete living and aesthetic pleasure. I spend so much time in the additions that sometimes I think the rest of the house isn’t necessary.

They remain as airy, bright and beautiful as the day they were finished.

In your design, you caught just the feeling I was after. And it has enhanced my days in this house ever since. I’m away a lot on business or family affairs. My return is always special as I know the attractive setting that will be there when I open the front door.

Thanks again Michael, for your fine work. You were a real pleasure to work with. If the occasion arises again, you are right on the top of my list.
