For our upcoming BRAGAA Remodelers Home Tour on September 27 and 28, we are completing the story of the evolution of the design solution for our project, tour home #2.  What usually happens in the design process is that our clients end up liking various elements from each of the three different Schematic Design concepts, and this was no exception.  We then bring those selected design concepts into Design Development, where they are creatively woven together into one cohesive final design solution.  In this case, the result was a completely open-plan first floor concept with kitchen, dining, and living spaces all being open, unified, and connected- supporting a way of living that was exactly what our clients had in mind for their new blended family. “First we shape our buildings- thereafter they shape us.” – Winston Churchill.
