Save the Date! We are very excited to announce that we will be presenting one of our all-time most incredible remodeling projects on the upcoming Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor’s fall Remodelers Home Tour on October 3rd and 4th. This whole-house remodel, a Deep Energy Retrofit and second-story addition completely reimagined a humble post-war brick ranch into a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired, Prairie-styled masterpiece. A big part of this transformation involved creating an open atrium that visually and spatially connected the new second floor to the existing first floor. This two-story volume not only ties both levels together it also provides an enhanced connection to nature allowing natural light to fill the home and open views to the urban forest across the street, one of our client’s primary goals.
