We have a little tradition here at AR that whenever our Principal, Michel Klement, goes away on holiday he sends an architectural challenge back to the team at home. It will be a little quiz testing their architectural knowledge. This time Michael had traveled to the east coast to Easton, Maryland. The question posed to the team at AR was why in the world would the masons chosen to use smaller brick every sixth course or so when they built up this wall? We’ll share the answer in our next post coming up this week. Here is a hint: this building Is on the east coast in a town that was established in 1710.
