One of the things that you will learn about at our upcoming Visible Green Home® Earth Day Celebration Tour of BURH BECC at BEACON SPRINGS on April 25th will be our use of rainwater harvesting. Working with Dave Stark of RMS we installed a rainwater collection system consisting of three, 2,500 gallon buried rainwater storage tanks all connected together in a series. These three tanks are designed to capture and hold 100% of the water required for the home’s use. The water is then pumped to a filtration system in the home. Since placed into operation the system has never once come even close to running dry. Drinking from the sky!
