For our ‘Lake of Verdant Peace’ residence project in Kalamazoo that is seeking Living Building Challenge Core certification we recently had an all-hands, on-site meeting with Alan and Sheila our clients (and gracious hosts serving us lunch- Thank You!), Paul our builder and Shannan and Susan our landscape architects. One of the requirements, and huge benefits, of LBC is creating a team around our client’s project. This has yielded insights and inspirations that have had significant positive impact (and saved our client’s money) for the success of their project. Here, we are geolocating the siting and orientation of the home on site.
